Guest plazaai
I'm new to the script game. Can anyone help me I want to write a script which will set the registry keys that are added or changed to point to a SUS server. My workstations are all XP or 2000 the users are NOT administrators but power users. I need this to work with either a login script or possible SMS. Thanks, Alex
ezzetabi
Set the default gpedit for the domain. it is much better. You need to set it only in the domain controller computer.
Poilu
What you are looking for is found at:http://susserver.com/FAQs/FAQ-AutoUpdateSettings.aspThe ssuserver.com is a great site, and really helped me out. If you are running Active Directory, you may want to consider using Group Policy in Computer Configuration|Administrative Templates|Windows Components|Window Update, rather than scripting it.
