Sending Hex Chars To Windows Default Printer

Recommended Posts

Hello

I need to create a script that can open a cashdrawer that is connected to a recept printer. The printer is a USB recept printer and the software cannot tell this USB printer to open the drawer.

There is an option in the software to configure a script to run after the recept is printed, so I need to send the HEX code straight to the windows default printer or directly to the USB002 port.

The Hex Codes

Epson emulation = 1B 70 48 14 28

All others = 7 (Bell)

Any help is greatly appreciated.
