Moderators SmOke_N Posted June 6, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2006 I lost my keys... does anyone know where they are . Desktop >> Right Click >> Properties >> Desktop >> Scroll to picture >> Browse Button ... That should do it That's the manual way ... if you want it progmatically, maybe someone can show you cpl or registry way... but I gotta run. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer. Uten
Think you have to figure out how to use SHGetFolderPath and/or SHGetSpecialFolderPath. Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum. Then ask unresolved questions :) Script plugin demo, Simple Trace udf, TrayMenuEx udf, IOChatter demo, freebasic multithreaded dll sample, PostMessage, Aspell, Code profiling

Uten
You know, you have to work on your comunication skills. You did ask where the file was located. I don't know the keys in the registry but you could probably track it down with regmon and filemon from www.sysinternals.comStart regmon. Then change your backround. Analyze the result in regmon. Or get a copy of installrite and do the same.Happy hunting Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum. gamerman2360
Even if you did change the regkey, I think you would have to refreash the desktop.

gamerman2360
Are you going to post the src when you get it done? I'm not really that sure if you need to/how you would refreash the desktop.
