Reading filenames from a directory

Recommended Posts

Hello again guys.

I have a program which searches through text for various strings...

I want to get the program to open one file in a directory, search throgh it, then open the next etc.

the way I thought of doing this is to have all of the filenames splashed into an array as individual elements. Only I can't seem to find a command to help me. I know the command in Perl, but this is besides the point.

Thanks in advance, and I hope I don't come across as badly as some of the idiots "gif me keyloggerz now plx" et c.
