DriveGetSerial

I can't get this to work!

Do DriveGetSerial then have it read a file that already has the serial in it, if it's different then exit script. If same then continue running script. I can't get it to work! :D

HI,

please show us, what you got so far.

$serial = FileRead(@ScriptDir & "\DriveSerial.txt")
ConsoleWrite(DriveGetSerial("c:\") & " " & $serial)
If DriveGetSerial("c:\") <> $serial Then
    MsgBox(64, "Error", "Different!")
    Exit (0)
ElseIf DriveGetSerial("c:\") = $serial Then
    MsgBox(64, "Info", "Cool!")
EndIf

So long,

Mega
