mozart90
Hi, I use the FileMove command to rename some files. the amount of the files is about 50. from time to time FileMove can't rename some of the files. (returns an error) I have tested the files so that they are not used! System: XP SP2 The files are stored on server. The strange thing is: with the FSO scripting object rename function there are no problems. Whats wrong? or ist there a bug when moving much files in short time? greetings mozart90 Easy Zip Compression using XP

I will get this kinde of error if I trie to remove files on my samba server (windows shared folder) that I do not have write access to on the linux file system. Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum. How was the files created?I will get this kinde of error if I trie to remove files on my samba server (windows shared folder) that I do not have write access to on the linux file system.... the files are about 20KB to 20MB.I have Read and Write access on the Server directory.Sometimes Filemove returns 0 for some Files! When running the function again Filemove returns 0 on some other Files. And I'm sure they are not used !This beahaviour occurs only when renaming more than about 10 Files. The FSO Movefile Method does not show this strange behaviour! Greetings Mozart90 Easy Zip Compression using XP
