Error reading the file: IE.au3

I tried to download a script from this forum, to work whit Internet Explorer. I saw that I needed this include:

http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...25629&hl=ie.au3

So I download it and saved (with the name IE.au3) it in the directory "Include".

But when I try to start the script, it give me this error:

Error reading the file: IE.au3

I searched in forum but it seems nobody has had the same problem.

Can someone help me?

Are you using Beta? Did you include it in the Beta Include Directory?

I'm using Beta, but I included the file in the Include Directory, and not in Beta Include Directory...Now it works, many many thanks

Good deal, I've done that a time or 2

I've another problem now..I was able (...) to write a script (with a little GUI) that read a web page, search a value and return me this value on a message box. What I can't do is: it's possible to make the scripts return me this value in a part of the GUI and not in a msgbox?

PS: when the scripts finds the value, it save this value on a file; this is the part of code:

FileWrite("C:\1\myfile.txt",$value )

MsgBox(1, "word to search", $value)

Well, I'm not a mind reader, have no idea what your GUI is (so the question is rather annoying really)... GUICtrlSetData() would be my answer then.

I didn't change anything other than instead of hard coding the "C:" drive I put @HomeDrive since you were already using @DeskTopDir.

You probably copied it wrong, or something, your missing the underscore there "_".

Edit:

Weird that says line 12, that's line 7 off of what you sent me.

Edit2:

You might want to copy that out of FireFox rather than IE.

Solved...but now the errore became:

Error: Variable used without being declared.

If I understand, this error is present because I used the variable $input, without declare it before. Your "$input" was probably a general example...but I understand what I have to put in that part of code.. :">
