sshrum Posted June 24, 2006 Share Posted June 24, 2006 I've written a ton of AutoIT scripts but this on borders on mostly Windows API I think. I'm looking to write a small app in AutoIT that would allow me to right click on certain file types (mainly audio files) and produce a menu item with a submenu in the context popup that would contain a collection of 'playlists' that reside in a predefined folder. Selecting one of the playlists would then append the path and filename to the playlist selected. The reason for this is that I have over 30,000 audio files. All the media players/managers choke and tend to do a lot of freezing/loading whenever I try to build playlists. I want something quick and easy. Ultimately if someone knows of a simple app that would allow me to do this, please let me know. So far my own searchs on the web have proven to be fruitless. Otherwise I need to make it; I seem to make all my own apps nowadays anyway with AutoIT :-) The concept seems simple enough for me but I have no idea where to start in regards creating the app. Any guidance would be helpful.
