Great job Jos!

Just thought I'd let you know that the notes on the download page has:

Definition files included: AutoIt v3.1.1.0 and BETA 3.1.1.118

Whereas the update history has:

Updated Beta definitions to AutoIt3 v 3.1.1.127

@JdeB

It's been some time that I have compiled some scripts, but lately when compiling with OPTIONS.

ResourceHack doesn't update the compiled EXE anymore.

Was this feature taken out somewhere ?

Or is it my installation that' s having problems.

Ps : I am using the latests version of SciTE.

Are you doing this from the WindowsExplorer/Right_Mouse_Click ?

I always compile with F7 or Alt+F7 from within SciTE and have no problems.

Did try the CompileWithOptions from Explorer and that also worked fine.

Give it a try from with SciTE and see what it says in the OutputPane...

Yes, via the explorer. Worked before like a charm, not anymore ?

I always compile with F7 or Alt+F7 from within SciTE and have no problems.

ALT+F7 does not bring up the window to change the Resource Hack Info.

So, that's not what I needed.

Did try the CompileWithOptions from Explorer and that also worked fine.

Yes that's what I use all the time. Brings up the correct Window but it is not changing the EXE file. Even if the info is in the Resource Hack Section.

Give it a try from with SciTE and see what it says in the OutputPane...

! RC.Exe (1) : Error : Resources information will not be updated in target program!

Any hint why it is not updating ?

Thanks for the reply.

Can you indicate where I should comment out these lines ?

The lines as they show up in my post, in your script

but only if you use the autoit3wrapper.

Yes, via the explorer.

Ah, well I use scite4autoit and hotkeys to compile a script.

I don't (ever) use the explorer.

You can use 'compiler options' for with the autoit3wrapper and embed them in your script.

Sorry, but I don't think my solution is related to your problem.

@JdeB

Any more hints on what is going wrong ?

Thanks

Can you PM the total output in the output pane and the INI file ?

I will have a look at see what the reason is....

Could be something to do with using ax3 in stead of exe as output format.

FYI:

SciTE config lists 3.1.1 as the Loaded Auto It3 definitions

SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

JdeB,

UpdateDefs is still using the 3.1.1 version of Abbreviations for v3.2 selection. Copying over the Abbreviations in the unstable folder over to the Production folder should fix the issue.

Edit1:

Also the keywords file...hmm looking at it, or all rest of the files?

Edit2:

Seems like choosing Beta defs could be the easiest decision for now for users.
