How many shades is between 15,000,000 and 16,000,000 decimal color. That will at least give me some idea of how many numbers a single shade is. Or is this easier in hex? Buck hmm, wrong forum! jvanegmond Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) It's almost impossible to determine this. Hex = 2 Characters represent Red, 2 Chars rep. Green, 2 for Blue Shade variation is about difference in 1 color. Example: 0x000000 with shadevariation 10 would look for 0x00000 to 0x101010 or 0x100000 or 0x001000 or 0x000010 or others.
