router internet

i made a script for my linksys router, if the internet connections dropsdown it must reconnect autmaticaly.

but iam stucket can somone help me ferther.

it must check if outside ip is 0.0.0.0.

if that is the case it must do the script down

Hi,

I think your script, (if it works) is already done. I would start the script whenever you think your rouer is down. It doesen't make sense to me, to let a script check that isssue all the time. Or is your router every 5 min down? :D Then I would go and buy a new one.

Nevertheless, I would start the script if needed and not running it all the time in the background.
