sullom
Does AutoIt provide a description for the errors returned by the @ERROR macro? I have seen some posts that seem to address this simple question, but the responses go off in many tangents. I am looking for something like the vbScript err.description: VBScript Err Object: Properties: Description Property The descriptive string associated with an error. HelpContext Property A context ID for a topic in a Windows help file. HelpFile Property A fully qualified path to a Windows help file. Number Property A numeric value identifying an error. Source Property The name of the object or application that originally generated the error. Methods: Clear Method Clears all property settings. Raise Method Generate a run-time error. nitekram
Look for @gafrost for the answer under bugs. I think they are updating it, but i think you will have to use IF statement and create your own msgbox. 2¢ All by me:"Sometimes you have to go back to where you started, to get to where you want to go." Valik
The value in @error is documented in the help file for the specific function. It's actual meaning varies from function to function.
