dodger42
I am trying to automate the installation of Symantec LiveState Recovery. Its an Installshield installer. The title bar is always set to: LiveState Recovery Advanced Server 6.0 - InstallShield Wizard The screen is simply a welcome splash with a Next option (Alt N, or Enter). So I have the following code: ; Script Start - Add your code below here Run("setup.exe") WinWaitActive("LiveState Recovery") Send("!N") But it just does not do the Alt N. I tried using Enter instead with the same result. I used the AutoIT window info and copied in the full Windows Details for the title, so no case or typos. Any suggestions? I read through the FAQ and some of the docs. I tried a quick test on setup.exe for Janes FA18 and it worked perfectly. REgards, D
Briegel
Did you try the control functions (ControlClick() etc.)? Take a look at helpfile.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
