gamepin126
Scite won't compile anything. When I right click on the scripts and tell it to compile(with or without options) it leaves a INI but no EXE. I can't run scripts from Scite either. Anyone know what's wrong? NELyon
maybe a compiler error. Try re-installing autoit completely
gamepin126
I used Your Installer 2006 Pro to run AutoIt's uninstaller, scan installation directory for left overs, and remove all registry items. No luck.

gamepin126
Worked before, it just stopped working. :\ It says this >C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.exe /in "C:\Documents and Settings\Rawr\My Documents\Scripts\test.au3" >%1 is not a valid Win32 application. Moderators SmOke_N Posted August 7, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2006 What virus software are you using... and when did you run your last scan... is it relevant to the time that SciTe quit working for you? Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer. gamepin126
Only realtime protection I have is from Zone Alarm, and autoit has full access. I don't go to garbage sites, and download things randomly, so I don't use AV's. EDIT: I can right click on a script and run it, but not run from scite. Confuzzled
Three things that come to mind:1: Try uninstall and re-install SciTe as well as all versions of AutoIT and reinstall.I'm guessing your registry pointers are screwed, usually from people using system restore to rollback instead of restoring from a backup.2: Check your antivirus isn't snaffling the code - there are frequent reports of false positives and the anti-virus log should show if this is the case. If you have a false positive, let the anti-virus people know, not here, as there is nothing that the AutoIT people can do about false positives in third-party software.3: Check your drive for errors. Fix any found. Your system event log may also offer clues. Edited August 7, 2006 by Confuzzled
nfwu
>%1 is not a valid Win32 application. My usual hunches tell me that this is causing your problem, and it has nothing to do with viruses. However, I cannot think of a solution at the moment.Try NOT installing the stuff into program files but rather into C:\AutoIt3.
