Error message after installing 3.2.0.1

When launching SynthaxCheckBeta In SCITE

Is anyone know what to do ?

What I did when installing the newest stable version:

Delete all previous versions - Beta too.

[Then removed register settings-This shouldn't be neccessary, its just what I do]

Rebooted, then did a new install of 3.2.0.1

I installed SciTe 1.71 after that.

did you do F5 or Alt+F5 ?

Its always better to show all output in the output pane since that tells me what you have done ....

I have a similar error. If I hit just F5 then au3check catches the errors just fine. However, if I hit Ctrl+F5 to check my syntax I get

>"F:\Utilities\AutoIt\SciTe\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.exe" /prod /AU3Check /in "F:\Utilities\xplorer2\test.au3"

+>06:17:34 Starting AutoIt3Wrapper v.1.9.2

! *** AU3CHECK Error: *** Skipping AU3Check: \au3check.exe Not Found !

+>06:17:34 AutoIt3Wrapper Finished

>Exit code: 0 Time: 0.427

I'm fairly new to this, am I missing something?

Have you tried to upgrade to the latest version of SciTE4AutoIt3 to see if that solves it?

It's the latest one off the download page, version 1.74.

Edit:

I went back to using the version that comes with AutoIt and all's well.

For some reason the AutoIt3 Program directory cannot be found by AutoIt3Wrapper and thus the au3check program isnt found.

Couple of questions:

1. where is AutoIt3 installed?

2. does the program directory contain au3.check?

3. Have you used the installer to install AutoIt3 ?

4. What is the output shown in the SciTE outputpane when you press F5 ?

Answers:

1. F:\Utilities\AutoIt

2. Yes

3. No, I used the zip download

4. When I press F5 the error checking process seems to go perfectly normal, i.e. it lists whatever errors au3.check found and even mentions au3.check in the text.

Ok understand now what is happening. It couldn't locate the AutoIt3 prograsm directory because the Registry entries are missing when you use the ZIP file.

I have added some logic to the script to determine the location of the AutoIt3 program directory.

Can you download and try this test version of AutoIt3Wrapper to see if that fixes it for you ?
