I need to open local html and pdf files using user's defulat browser and acrobat reader. Will run('file.html') or run('file.pdf') work? Please help :P

How can I know if a pdf reader is installed and .pdf extension is associated with a reader?

maybe you could read this HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pdf

$var = RegEnumKey('HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pdf\OpenWithList', 1)
    If @error <> 0 then ConsoleWrite('Error')
    MsgBox(0,"", $var)
