DLLs And Autoit

hey.

Could someone who has experiance here give me a quick example of some Visual Basic code to make a simple dll and then call it with autoit? thanks. I have been having so many problems trying to do this.

but why can i use larrys bitmap skin one without regestering it?

All i want to know is how to

A) make a dll to display a message box is visual basic (Will be my starting point for dll creation)

edit: wait no. i dont want to have to regester it. i want to make a dll that can be called the same way as larrys bitmap skin one.

You're in an AutoIt forum, asking how to make a DLL, is that an option that is available now that I'm not aware of in AutoIt?

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

use OCXes to make objects then register them at script startup if they are not registered. i find that user then using the dllcall stuff too. WAY easyer.
