"Fileinstall" to memory?

Hi,

I'm using AutoIt to write a BartPE plugin, so the moment this plugin runs, it only has access to a read-only device. But it has to install some files from the script with the FileInstall function. Installing to a ramdisk/harddisk is an option I'd rather do without.

What I want is probably impossible, but maybe someone does know of a way...

Thanx.

Hi x42x4b,

Sorry, missed your thread completely. It indeed seems we are after the same thing.

Larry gave a solution that I don't understand completely... have you tried this...? Or better: have you found the solution in the meantime? Please share!

Thanx.
