flyingboz Posted June 21, 2004 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Hi all, Looking for suggestions as to how to determine what installations on my network have a functioning copy of gdiplus running on them. My initial thoughts are to determine the existence of gdiplus.dll - but wondered about some more sophisticated methods -- could a registry detect work?? Or would it be smart to not only detect that the o/s has the requisite file but also run some (as yet unknown and unwritten) program that tests functionality (mebbe returns an errorlevel?) I welcome any thoughts, as I am preparing to deploy a high-profile app, and would like to cover my posterior by covering as many stupid user tricks as possible.
