Fossil Rock
I am curious if routine like PixelCheckSum can be performed on a screen capture in memory (read from the clipboard) ? Guess you'd have to use mem funtions, but is it a doable thing or a very complicated thing ? Agreement is not necessary - thinking for one's self is! jvanegmond
Actually, the screen you are looking at right now is also built up from memory. That memory is read with PixelCheckSum, you just want the function to read from a different part of the memory. I don't know how to do this. github.com/jvanegmond
Valik
It's do-able but I wouldn't bother. I just spent some time with PixelCheckSum() and now that I know how it's implemented, to do similar from within AutoIt itself is not something I want to try. To put things in perspective, PixelCheckSum() is 80 lines of code and 74 lines of comments explaining how the code works.
