LoginWrapper Secure scripts by adding a query (authentication)

_RunOnlyOnThis UDF Make sure that a script can only be executed on ... (Windows / HD / ...)

I agree with th.meger

Direct from the help...

$var = Ping("www.AutoItScript.com",250)
If $var Then; also possible:  If @error = 0 Then ...
    Msgbox(0,"Status","Online, roundtrip was:" & $var)
Else
    Msgbox(0,"Status","An error occured with number: " & @error)
EndIf

Read the help file and experiment :lmao:

Thanks a lot.

This is probably what I need.

One question: If I just want to know if the user who runs the project is connected to the internet, then I can put any url like CNN or yahoo, am I right ?

Thank you

Tuk

Hi,

yes I think so. Try it with google or ibm ...

I haven't looked into Ping() but maybe the only prob could be, that it is related to the settings in IE. So if you are using different proxy settings in IE and Firefox, BANG. :lmao:
