If by usage you mean load RAM then see this old thread:

The first script in that post will load RAM very fast as the variable doubles the variable kept in RAM with each loop... but the second script is closer to what I thought the OP wanted, it will take a while to max out the RAM and swap file.

You might want to read the entire thread first.
