Sound trigger, is it even possible?

Recommended Posts

Just like pixel search, is it possible to use sound to trigger mouse actions?

My situation is like this: I would like to run a program, which makes some sound randomly once in a while. I would like to capture that sound and use that to trigger some mouse actions. Is it even possible?

I would think you would need some external programs (to recognize the sound), but I would say certainly would be possible.

what the heck? he said he wanted to detect when the computer made a sound, and then do some mouse movements. I don't see what that response was supposed to mean...

Larry gave him the answer, and he didn't even try anything with Larry's response before assuming that the response given wouldn't work for him!

EDIT: In less than 5 minutes of searching, I found the post that displays exactly what Larry described. Seriously, the OP could have looked himself!
