version problem

Recommended Posts

I have installed the version AutoIt v3.2.0.1

But when I create a script I receive

AutoIt Version: 3.1.1.0

Your problem is not a toggle one as 3.1.1.0 was the previous official release. The one before 3.2.0.1

I don't know what is wrong with your installation but you better deinsatall every think and reinstall the 3.2.0.1 and the beta if you like. :lmao:

well, I am not working with the beta version, and I just uninstaled the version and reinstalled the downloaded version and I receive still the old version in my scripts

Maybe it is only written wrong, and do I work with the new version.

Can I check this somewere?

Where do you see this old version number ?

Is that in compiled scripts or somewhere else ?

when i open scite to create a new script

see screenshot

Ahh... now I understand..

The Template wasn't updated in the 3.2.0.1 release, but thats not really a problem, its just a comment.

If you want to change it, just open: C:\WINDOWS\ShellNew\Template.au3 and make the change there.
