Sifting through gmail?

Ive been trying to think of a way to help speed up a problem of mine.

Typical Scenario, user uses software if an error crops up it auto emails an acct with an email. Email has some standard text saying the following error was found at blah blah, then they all have a section that says this:

error: #########

Now I don't like sifting through hundreds of emails reading them all, what I would prefer is to write a script that could search through my emails, find the "error:" and then copy the number section into a file, and do this for all emails on a page.

I did a typical search and find using the browser using gmail, but gmail cascades similar messages so makes this soln impossible.

Does anyone know of a way I can do this?

Thanks!

HI,

if you haven't got the text in files then you need to go through it in the app, right?

Maybe you can export the emails, so you got files.

A give it a start try using au3record.exe
