FrederickB
Me again! Sorry. After your great help with my previous question (http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3630), I have decided to script the loading of the two database applications, including the usernames and passwords. But my issue, does Not lie with setting the window titles, but in launching of the databases. The applications load and conect to citrix servers, using a mixture of programs calling other executables with parameters. But my problem is launching these databases. I won't bother you with the details of how it fails to launch, but let just say I tried EVERYTHING I could think of, scripting it, even trying to call it from within windows / a command prompt. The database program only likes being called from its shortcut. SO. My question is:- Can AutoIt call a link file to run, exactly the same way as if you manually double-clicked the link. BUT WITHOUT opening an explorer window and executing the link through keystrokes? Any & all advice or critism is more than welcome! Thanks FrederickB
