new to this... plz help

i am new to this hole programing deal, but what i want help on is... i want a program that loads when winders boots up, and runs in the background. the purpus of it is to monitor the caplocks. and only turn on caplocks when a certain app is up. turns caplocks off when another app is up. how i do that??? thnks

Vague contradicting question:

Monitor the Capslock... but that you state to monitor an Application and switch Capslock on or off ...

Care to explain the true intentions ?

rule the world my friend... j/k i use autocad and we use caplocks while in acad. but when i switch over to yahoo IM or IRc i like to just have the caplocks turn off and when i go back to cad, i dont have to remember to turn it back on.. yeah im lazy, but anything to make my life easier..

You can readup on the following functions to see if you can figure it out :

WinActive()

Send()

Should be pretty strait forward .. ;)
