I have a problem running AutoIt-Setup on a PC. The PC stops execution. It's freezing the machine. All I can do is switch the machine Off and On again.

No way to have the setup running. I even tried the Beta version. Same result.

You can manually download the zip files here:

http://www.autoitscript.com/cgi-bin/getfil...it-v3.2.0.1.zip

http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/files/...t-v3.2.1.14.zip

You can then install them manually by extracting the autoit release version to:

C:\Program Files\AutoIt

and the beta version to:

C:\Program Files\AutoIt\Beta

You will then have to manually associate the files and create the shortcuts, a pain in the ass but a work around for the problem with the setup.

My guess is that you are running the setup on an a low-end machine. When the setup is run, the first thing it does is decompress all the files in its SFX module. On an old or low end machine, this could pretty much cause it to crap out due to the intense CPU, RAM, and hard disk usage during the decompression. All you would then have to do is let the computer sit there for several minutes while it unpacks the files.

Then again, you didn't give us very much information. You didn't tell us what operating system you are using, what your system specs are, RAM, Processor Speed, etc. So other than just guess that your system is slow and is halting when the self extracting archive is being decompressed, there isn't much more i can say.
