daslick
I will provide code if necessary, just let me know. The problem is... i have a dropdown menu with a list of programs. I want the user to be able hit enter after he types something in and that to start a function. I know i could do this with a simple hotkey... but I do not want it done all the time, only when the user is using the dropdown menu.. well..... if you don't understand what i'm describing then I will try and make up some example code. GaryFrost
#include <GUIConstants.au3> GUICreate("My GUI combo") ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered GUICtrlCreateCombo ("item1", 10,10) ; create first item GUICtrlSetData(-1,"item2|item3","item3") ; add other item snd set a new default $btn = GUICtrlCreateButton("Ok", 40, 75, 60, 20) GUICtrlSetState($btn, $GUI_DEFBUTTON) GUISetState () ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop Case $btn MsgBox(0,"OK", "Button or Enter Pressed") EndSwitch Wend SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
