Hello,

How do I generate file? I was searching for a function like FileCreate() but can't find one. Also, if I have a text file, how can I delete everything inside without like going through notepad or a similar program.?

-Thank you for your help

Thank You, but is it not in the documentation? I searched it like a hundred times for "Create" command and didn't see that.

It's in the documentation for 3.2.xx versions of AutoIt.

FileOpen() is the answer to both of your questions though.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

You don't even need FileOpen to create an empty file,

FileWrite(@DesktopDir & "\My_File.txt","")

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.
