snowbrdr020
I am just upgrading to v3. i am using the SciTE Script Editor to write the scripts, i am guessing this is the correct editor. WHen i save a file, say to the desktop, it does not save it as any type of file. meaning it does not save it in .au3 form. os this correct, am i doing something wrong? so when i go to compile my script, i have to click on show all files, then the "blank" file. i have looked around the site and FAQ and i see screenshots of files being saved correctly, so why is it not doing it for me? i would like it to save correctly so i do not have to take the time for the extra step of converting files, and basically just want to understand why its not saving correctly. thanks. James
Yeah, you have to add the .au3 extension. It's quite annoying, but I let it off because its a GREAT editor. BALA
If it helps, what I do is right-click and add a new .au3 file, then edit that.
