Gnat Posted January 12, 2007 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Is there an easy way to make a call to a web page ( in the background ) and read the html output for certain text, then display just that wanted text in a message box? I am trying to write a script that will retrieve information via WMI from a Windows server. Then I want to use some of that info (serial number and oemstringarray) to look up on HP's website the warranty info (without opening a browser) and then scrape the wanted warranty info out and displaying in a GUI or message box. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
