CyberSlug Posted July 30, 2004 Share Posted July 30, 2004 The Original RegShot 1.61e lets you take snapshots (takes < 30 seconds) of your registry and compare the differences.If you wanted to find the registry key for always showing file extensions, you could take snaphots before and after making the change in Folder Options. this-is-me Posted July 30, 2004 Share Posted July 30, 2004 If you are looking for a complete but free solution, I use installrite exclusively from http://www.epsilonsquared.com/ It correctly logs reg entries and files, and allows you to export new and old shots as regedit4 files.
