Zedna
Look at Introduction at http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/AutoIt is not only script language. You can make also GUI applications, work with COM, there are lots of functions for easy manage another applications or set/get data from it (for example ListView/TreeView) and so on ...EDIT: For desing GUIs I suggest Koda form designer:http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32299http://www.autoitscript.com/fileman/users/lookfar/formdesign.html Edited January 24, 2007 by Zedna Resources UDF ResourcesEx UDF AutoIt Forum Search
herewasplato
Even before all of the GUI and COM features, I seem to recall that the intro (perhaps the V2 intro) used to mention that Jon wrote it to "fill in the gaps" of other scripting tools that he was already using.
