how to slelect specific option in an options window?

i want to be able to modify a local security policy but dont know how to select down the tree to the option i need to activate & modify.

if you run secpol.msc on your machine your see what i have..

the path i need to take is Local policies, user right assignment & then Act as part of the operating system.

I dunno the translation, but you can try ControlSend the keys to the controlId and controlSend {right} to open the tree.

This can all be easily done with Auto3Lib. There are several demos showing how to manipulate a TreeView and ListView control to select options.
