Change the ID of a program?

Hey,

I'm just wanderig is it possible to change the ID of a window/program?

Do you know what you are asking? .... Because I don't.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

I am having trouble understanding what you mean, but the general answer is no. The ID numbers are set by the Windows Operating System. Some IDs are special IDs that occur on certain events. Others, like a control ID are dynamically assigned by the OS to an ID number that is available and currently not in use. If you want to use a controlsend to send a certain control a specific message, use the autoit window info tool to get the ClassNameNN of a control. This will not change unless changed in the actual source code of the program from which the program was compiled.
