The ID numbers are set by the Windows Operating System. Some IDs are special IDs that occur on certain events. Others, like a control ID are dynamically assigned by the OS to an ID number that is available and currently not in use. If you want to use a controlsend to send a certain control a specific message, use the autoit window info tool to get the ClassNameNN of a control.
