Modding Explorer

I know its a bit offtopic but....

I want to make explorer show a thumbnail of my homemade image format that i made in autoIT.

Tho i have no idea how it works...

Do i need to modify Explorer.exe or add a *.dll somewhere? or...

Ive been looking around and found this;

But it requires bitmap data to be stored in the file.

You guys have any idea how to do a workaround on that?

I don't know what you can do with autoit.

I would suggest getting "resource hacker" and putting the pic in explorer.exe with it.

thats what I did to make my start button say my name.
