@ProgramFilesDir returns this for my computer: C:\Program Files. Therefore, if you were to use:

I dont think so....

are you sure that this is \Skins\Skins\ ( 2 skin folders ???? )

@DesktopDir & "\Skins\Skins\Silver-Blue"

*************

if that is true then would you find XSkin.au3 under the first skin folder... like this

FileInstall(@DesktopDir & "\Skins\Xskin.au3"... ??????

this actually worked

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "power")

#include <XSkin.au3>
#include <GUIConstants.au3>
#include <IE.au3>

_IEErrorHandlerRegister ()

DirCopy(@DesktopDir & "\Skins\Skins\Silver-Blue", @ProgramFilesDir & "\Sims-2-World")

FileInstall(@DesktopDir & "\Skins\Xskin.au3", @ProgramFilesDir & "\Sims-2-World\Xskin.au3")

$Skin_Folder = @ProgramFilesDir & "\Sims-2-World"
toolTip("to ext 'Sims-2-world' press Esc", 0,0)
$XSkinGui = XSkinGUICreate( "Sims-2-world", 1025, 725, $Skin_Folder)

$Width = 1014
$Height = 712
GUISetBkColor(0x00E0FFFF)
GUISetFont(9, 300)

$URL = "www.Sims-2-world1.piczo.com"
$oIE = _IECreateEmbedded ()

GUISetState()

While 1
$msg = GUIGetMsg()
Select
Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
ExitLoop
EndSelect
WEnd

Func power()
    Exit
EndFunc   ;==>power

I did not think that FileInstall() would work without a "text" line... but this worked

Did you compile and try to run that? Otherwise, you are just doing a FileCopy().

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
