DriveMapAdd function

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Since I installed Autoit V3.2.2.0 the error code returned by the DriveMapAdd function is always the same when

the share can not be reached. The error 1 (undefinied) is systematically returned and others 2 to 6 aren't anymore

Does someone experienced the same problem ?

Thanks for your help.

You need to check @extended to see what is wrong. (See the help file).

I am having the exact same problem. I uninstalled 3.2.2.0 and went back to 3.2.0.1 but had the same issue.

Here's the code snippet I'm using:

DriveMapAdd("U:","\\servername\sharename",0,"domainname\" & $UserID, $Password)

If @error Then

$Umap = @error

MsgBox(0,"","Umap " & @error)

If $Umap = "1" then

$extended = @extended

MsgBox(0,"",$extended)

EndIf

EndIf

When I use an incorrect password, $Umap returns 1 and $extended returns 0 even though my understanding is that $Umap should be 6.
