MouseGetCursor doesn't identify different 'Unknown' cursors and in fact you can't do it with autoit unless you use a DLL.

I made a DLL function from some code I found on the forum, but it's pretty clunky if you want to use it for this with other functions such as MouseMove (you have to move 1 pixel, call the DLL, move one pixel, call the DLL, etc until you detect a different cursor). A better way would be to write your own DLL with a function like MouseMoveUntilCursorChanges(x1,y1,x2,y2,speed) which returns a cursor ID and coordinates for the different cursor it finds while it's moving. That would be more efficient I assume.

I have the same (almost) question - How can i "know" if the mouse have a "question cursor" on it?

For example, i make window like this:

#include <GuiConstants.au3>

$Gui = GUICreate("test", 200, 200, -1, -1, $WS_SYSMENU+$WS_CAPTION+$WS_SIZEBOX, $WS_EX_CONTEXTHELP)

GUICtrlCreateButton("test", 40, 40)
GUICtrlSetCursor(-1, 4)

GUISetState()

$Msg = 0
While $Msg <> -3
    $Msg = GUIGetMsg()
    $CurID = MouseGetCursor()
    If $CurID = 4 And $GUI_EVENT_PRIMARYDOWN = $Msg Then MsgBox(0, "", "Ok, Mouse have 'Help' cursor")
WEnd

When i hover the mouse on the button and press primary button of mouse, the MsgBox is shown, but if i press the button with litle help cursor that at top of the window (on title bar), and then trying to press on any place on Gui, nothing is happend, why? how can i check if this cursor was chosen and then pressed?
