Hi all, im gonna die, please help me :D:P

:whistle:

I have that code:

#include <IE.au3>

GUICreate("wintest")
$oIE = _IECreateEmbedded()
GUICtrlCreateObj($oIE, 0, 0, 300, 280)
_IEDocWriteHTML ($oIE, '....HtmlCode...')

While 1
GUISetState()
Wend

It returns me this error:

--> IE.au3 Error from function _IELoadWait, $_IEStatus_InvalidDataType

-> blank wepage embedded .... I tried to analyse every example, I can't find my error.

Thanks a lot !

Yes someone else uncovered this issue recently as well... the document object doesn't get created until you navigate the window object created by _IECreateEmbedded() somwhere. _IECreateEmbedded() can't do this for you because the window object it creates is not valid until it is included in GUICtrlCreateObj.

So, with the added _IENavigate line below you should be all set.

#include <IE.au3>

GUICreate("wintest")
$oIE = _IECreateEmbedded()
GUICtrlCreateObj($oIE, 0, 0, 300, 280)
_IENavigate($oIE, "about:blank")
_IEDocWriteHTML ($oIE, '<HTML><BODY>Hello</BODY></HTML>')

While 1
GUISetState()
Wend

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
