just looking to map a key to "pause" the script till unpause it.

HotKeySet( "{END}", "quit")

is my quit function, just need a "pause" function now but can not find it in the help.

I dont know how you found HotKeySet, BUT

there is a great example at the bottom of the help file page for HotKeySet()
