I'm using the following code but doesn't seem to work! FileInstall("c:\Remote\msvbvm60.dll", @SystemDir & "\msvbvm60.dll", 1) Wha am I doing wrong? Thanks. Uten Posted March 20, 2007 Share Posted March 20, 2007 It is probably already there and protected by the OS. A installer program would normally check version information. And only install the file if it has a newer or similar version number. To make the replacement happen the file has to be placed in a temp area, the registry has to be notified where it is and where it goes and the computer must be rebooted. Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum.
