Actually, at times, including right now as i Typppe, Firefox is not spell-checking noothing

It would be nice to be able to "activate" it

I'm not experiencing this.
  • What version of Firefox are you using?
  • In your about:config what is the entry for layout.spellcheckDefault set to?

Possibly dictionary on-line or maybe an "option" for using Word's built-in dic

Are we still taking about spell checking here or definitions?

---

Thank you all!

I'm currently working on a major update for this extension. Here are some new features I'm planning on adding.

  • Preferences Window
  • Display/Hide Menu Items
  • Configurable Hotkeys
  • Configurable SciTE Path (for when it's not installed in default location)
  • Dictionary Search
  • Highlighted Lookup
  • Configurable Hotkey
  • Configurable Online Dictionaries (Maybe?)
  • Configurable Hotkeys
  • Configure up to 4 links (Alt-F9, Alt-F10, Alt-F11, Alt-F12)
Any other ideas while I'm at it?

I have a question about this. Which should I do...
  • Open each code block in a separate temp file
  • Open all code blocks in the same temp file just sectioned off
  • Provide an option to do either

What you've got is much simpler than this... but I did something like this a long while ago (one of my first!) I'm sure it needs a lot of cleanup, but feel free to use anything from it. (looking at this code makes me cringe a bit, but some of it may be helpful):

Thanks for the code. JdeB provided me with some nice command line arguments for SciTE that make editing/running code very easy. Edited by big_daddy

An option to do either is my vote. I am sure that if you do it just one way then you will get lots of requests to do it the other.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.

@big_daddy,

I love this extension. Thanks much.

Question/Feature request: is it possible to automatically include the thread or post link and possibly poster's name as script comments when opening a code block in Scite?

I do this all the time manually so that I can be sure to trace back where code came from and give proper credit where credit is due if I use the code.

@ResNullius - As soon as I get the preferences system working properly I'll include this as an option. Thanks for the input.

---

I finally got the "Edit all with SciTE" working so I'll probably release AutoIt Menu v1.2.3 tomorrow.
