Get User Id

Recommended Posts

Hello again folks,

I would like to grab the user ID so I can write a logfile and leave it on the desktop. Desktop path depends on who's logged in and so is of the form

C:\Documents and Settings\NerdBoyUser.SLIDER\Desktop.

Thanks,

jh

BTW, this is the start of my third day with AutoIt (not full days as other tasks take a good bit of my time) and I pleased with my progress, though slow; and I am very much pleased with the helpful folks on this forum. It's only about 80-90 lines of scripts so far but it is taking the tediosity out of server setups.

Nope, sure didn't. I was looking for a get type function. There are so many features and my osmosis is so slow.

But thank you, this is a great help.
