Set propertyes for music files

I was wondering, is it possible to set propertyes for music files? such as album, sound track, year, style.. just like winamp have this option when you open the information dialog for selected sound - you can easy edit the data of every sound, and it can be readable later from that sound.

Is it possible? and if so, then how?

I think I'll try just reading the ID3 Tag info directly from the file.
