First Connection Functions

I'm a new user (italian, I'd like to remark it ) and I'm really impressed by AutoIt functionalities. I'll surely continue in applying on it.

Here's my first (noobly ^^) question: I'm trying to write down a script which will automatically download a video from youtube and similars. The first obstacle is how connect my script to an URL and then modify it (cuz during the action it will change)...

I've found out AutoIt uses some TCP/Socket functions... how can use those for my purpose?

Benvenuto! There are several fine scripts here on the forum that can be used for this. If you want to work with Internet Explorer, you might want to check out the IE.au3 file. Also, use the search feature here on the forum for key words like download, URL, etc.
