Running a Program as an Administrator

Recommended Posts

That would really make it simple for the hackers don't you think?..

On the other hand you can run your script by a service tool like xyntservice.

Is there a way I can create a script that runs a program as an administrator even though I don't know the administrator's password? Thanks in advance.

Remove all firewalls and connect your Windows box directly to the internet.

You'll get a working demo within minutes...

Hmm...you all were quick in responding... Thanks. So there's no way in AutoIt to even possibly emulate administrator privileges to run a program?

Hmmm

I wonder why Windows would even bother to set passwords for administrator accounts.

They certainly are a nuisance to someone who may have nefarious intent.

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.

RunAsSet but you will obviously need the password.

why, and what do you plan to do? let me guess...you want to do something along the following..
  • you want to run something on the school PC, but you can't
  • you want to pull a prank on a friend's PC, but you can't
  • you want to do soemthing to a work PC, but you can't
  • you want to get something from a PC you are not supposed to be using
  • you want to run something the admin doesn't want you to run
it is usually one of these, so we get upset if it is. If I'm wrong, I have no problem being humble. Could you explain yourself? It would be very helpful.
