Like the title says i was wondering if it is possible to run an autoit script in the background, so maybe i could continue doing other things while a script ran... like have cmd open and doing something while having it hidden or something? is this at all possible or are there alternatives... also does anyone know of some autoit tutorials?

Hi,

Yes autoit runs in the background.

Create a simple loop like

While 1

; do something usefull

sleep 100 ; to avoid 100% cpu usage

Andre

What about Windows without using AutoIt ?It would be the same as driving a car without an steering Wheel!
