Bert
are you dealing with just text? you could use this: $len = StringLen(clipget()) MsgBox(0, "String length is:", $len) The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/

raggletaggle
are you dealing with just text? you could use this: $len = StringLen(clipget()) MsgBox(0, "String length is:", $len) unfortunately it's a picture. I'm just looking for a slipshod way to ensure the picture in the clipboard is not the same as the one I took a screenshot of earlier in the script. Thanks for your help Edited April 23, 2007 by raggletaggle

MrCreatoR
Manually copy any image file . (on Clip)now run the script ! It worked for me !It's work because the clipboard contain path to this file, and FileGetSize work with paths, not with data..Here somewhere (on the forum) there is function that save image from clipboard to file, this might help (save it to file and check his size), try to search here (+save +image +clipboard etc).
